MONTHLY MEETINGS
Our monthly meetings, scheduled on the second Sunday of the month, are open to the public with a program speaker, followed by a raffle and workshop tables for our members, with our trained and experienced teachers.
We meet from 12:00 to 3:00 at the Tucson Womans Club, 6245 E. Bellevue, near Wilmot and Speedway, unless otherwise noted in our events calendar.
What to expect at the meetings:
-
Arrive early enough to sign in, get your name tag, join the society, and buy raffle tickets
-
Bring a plant you would like a mentor to help you with (shaping, potting, wiring)
-
At noon we begin announcements and show-and-tells from members with interesting things to share
-
A program is given by one of our mentors relative to the season for caring for our trees
-
We break for refreshments and raffle drawing begins of terrific trees or books or surprises
-
You can either work on your trees with a mentor, watch others and their trees being worked by mentors (listen closely; you will learn lots of great new information) or you will just chat with other members
-
You can sign up for future events (classes, workshops, digs, conventions)
